Turquoise Earrings

Beautiful pale blue 25.82 ct of Golden Hills turquoise from Kazakhstan. These are set in 14k yellow in a gold and polished in my traditional buttery matte finish. Hanging at 1 1/2" in the ear they are light enough to wear all day into the evening comfortably. 

Golden Hills turquoise is extremely rare due its color, gem purity and scarcity. There is difficulty in mining it which is during the winter months in the Altyn-Tyube ("golden hills) region in Kazakhstan due flooding, making it an expensve and sought after gemstone.
