Very beautiful 12mm vintage, natural "apple" and "tiger" sponge coral beads with a protective coating. Sponge coral is very porous. The coating helps to protect their delicate nature and the coral is better off with this thin layer of protection. Interspersed throughout are six 16mm round turquoise beads, a 14mm south sea pearl and a large turquoise focal bead.
The necklace is strung on naturally dyed grey leather cord with a turquoise bead slide closure. Two turquoise bullet ends topped with more sponge coral and a Japanese Akoya pearl complete the look and "tails" of the piece. Can be pulled tightly and worn at 28" or let out to be worn long depending on your mood. The accent tails can also be worn in the front or down your back or both. One of a kind.
